What is coaching?

Life Coaching is a no-nonsense approach to facilitating the learning and development of another person for the purpose of achieving their desired goal. 

A coach's main objective is to help a client take action to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. It's forwards focused and based on the philosophy that we have all the resources and answers within us to live a happier and more fulfilling life. 

How does it work? 

Through confidential conversations where the coach asks powerful questions to uncover what exactly the client wants to achieve. SMART goals are  identified then strategies and action plans are created to achieve them.

The Coach then keeps the client motivated and focused, and gives them the tools needed to work through obstacles and overcome self limiting beliefs and self sabotaging behaviour. Working with a coach provides a clear way forward to consistant success in all areas of your life.

What are you like to work with?

I'm quite strict or to put it another way, dedicated to getting you results. So if you want to just talk about your problems and your not really ready to do anything about them, then I'm definitely not the coach for you. I will hold you to account and I will challenge your excuses, I expect you to take responsibility for your self and fulfill your commitment to taking action.  

My professional relationship with my clients is based on the belief that they are smart, mature, and capable people who want my assistance in articulating and achieving their goals. I provide this support and direction. If you would like to know more about coaching please contact me.
